::edit:: Well I’ve talked to some of you about this, but I’d like to explain my feelings about this just a little bit more. …
I cut the picture and text for ~spoilers~ buuuut I really think you guys should click through and read it once you’ve seen the concert, or if you don’t care about spoilers, or if you want to be warned for something that could be potentially upsetting.
I’ve been staying away from my dash because I haven’t had a chance to watch the concert yet, but I’m actually really glad I caught this post because I think that if I had seen the image in question without knowing about it in advance, it would have been pretty upsetting! I mean, I’m pretty upset regardless, specifically as a Jew who used to have a LOT of nightmares and anxiety about this kind of shit but also, y’know, as a human being. But at least now I have advance warning so I can steel myself against what I suspect will be some intense discomfort in the middle of an otherwise glorious sea of rainbows and sparkles.
Anyway, I guess the point of this reblog is to thank captain-snen and ninui for pointing this out and providing some thoughtful commentary on it. Thank you~
